Nel corso dei tapings di iMPACT! di giovedì scorso è stato ufficialmente annunciato che Mick Foley farà il suo ritorno sul ring in occasione di Genesis, PPV che si disputerà l'11 Gennaio 2009. Foley sarà in squadra con AJ Styles e Brother Devon per lottare contro Booker T, Kevin Nash e "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner.

Christy Hemme infortunata: non sarà a Genesis

CHRISTY HEMME INJURED: UNABLE TO COMPETE THIS SUNDAY AT "GENESIS"

TNAwrestling.com has learned that Christy Hemme has sustained a neck injury while training in the ring with AJ Styles for Sunday's Women's Championship match.

According to TNA officials, Hemme will be unable to compete at "Genesis" against Awesome Kong.

Unfortunately, her injury will require surgery and she will be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

On Sunday, TNA Management Director Jim Cornette will name a replacement to face Kong for the Women's Championship.

Everyone at TNA wishes Christy all the best and we will certainly update fans on her condition as we learn more information.

Christy Hemme, Knockout della TNA che domenica a Genesis avrebbe dovuto combattere contro Awesome Kong, si è gravemente infortunata al collo preparando assieme a AJ Styles proprio il match che avrebbe dovuto disputare domani notte in PPV.

L'ex Diva della WWE dovrà operarsi in seguito all'accaduto, quindi sarà costretta ad un lungo stop.

Per quanto riguarda Genesis e l'avversaria di Awesome Kong, Jim Cornette, Management Director della TNA, rivelerà il rimpiazzo della Hemme solo domani nel corso del PPV.

Secondo alcune indiscrezioni trapelate dal backstage della TNA, questa notte a Genesis a sostituire l'infortunata Christy Hemme nel Lumberjack Match contro Awesome Kong sarà chiamata Taylor Wylde.

L'annuncio ufficiale sarà comunque fatto solamente questa notte durante il PPV da parte di Jim Cornette, Management Director della TNA.

I lettori di Gerweck.net hanno avvisato il sito internet americano che la TNA ha comunicato tramite il servizio TNA Mobile che a Genesis è stato aggiunto un Eight Men Elimination Tag Team Match, che vedrà opposti Eric Young, Shark Boy & Latin American Exchange a Kiyoshi, Cute Kip & Rock 'n Rave Infection.
